The Chincoteague Island Theatre Company was founded in March 2011 when artistic director Lexi Hubb approached the CCA about starting a community theatre organization on the island. Lexi holds a Bachelor's Degree in theatre arts from Towson University and is a New York City-trained dramatist.
The mission of the CITC is to work with our sponsor, the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance, to further enhance the island's cultural and artistic opportunities by introducing theatre performance and education.
CITC produces plays and performances year-round. All of our productions are created and performed right on Chincoteague.
