Hosted by CCA and CITC.

The play is a compelling story about an immigrant family’s journey from Europe to the United States and their ability to survive during a time of cruel inhumanity to fellow human beings.

Written and performed by Trudy Graboyes, HER STRENGTH, OUR STORY is centrally focused on her grandmother Ida, and features three original songs against the backdrop of a map illustrating Ida'a journey and restored pictures of her family. A Q&A will follow the show.Trudy has presented her show at community centers, churches, schools, and theatres. Sharing her grandmother's story demonstrates that Immigrant stories are American stories.
