Student Age: 18 and up
Learn how to paint an old piece of furniture to make it look new! This class will teach you to prep, paint and bedazzle (if desired) a piece of furniture that you thought was at the end of its useful life. We will discuss types of paint (chalk paint, all in one, and a few others), prep materials, brushes, stenciling, decorating ideas and sealants. Price includes all necessary supplies, except you must bring a small piece of furniture to work on during class (a chair, accent table, wall shelf, etc).
Cheryl is a self taught artist inspired by the beauty of Chincoteague Island. Her artwork includes painted furniture, canvases, jingle shell flowers and other unique island inspired gifts.
