Fun Painting Furniture - 04/10/2021

Student Age: 18 and up
Learn to prep, paint and bedazzle (if desired) a piece of furniture that you thought was at the end of its useful life. We will discuss types of paint (chalk paint, all in one and a few others), prep materials, brushes, stenciling, decorating ideas and sealants. Paint, drop cloths, stencils and brushes will be provided. Wear clothing you don't mind getting paint on. Bring gloves if desired. And most importantly, bring a small piece of furniture to work on during class (a chair, accent table, wall shelf, etc). Cheryl is a self taught artist inspired by the beauty of Chincoteague Island. Her artwork includes painted furniture, canvases, jingle shell flowers and other unique island inspired gifts.
Please bring and wear a mask during the class to protect yourself and others from Covid-19. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
