Join JoAnn Stratakos and Cheryl Taylor as they co-host a class to memorialize the 100th year anniversary of the world famous Chincoteague pony swim through the creation of a shell embellished pony. Chincoteague residents, neighbors and visitors alike will enjoy creating a piece of pony art that will last a lifetime. You’ll be given a clay pony head, a vast selection of shells and the tools to put it all together. You will have ample time to select your shells, adhere them to your pony and then seal your piece with a ceramic glaze to hold and protect it. Hang the end result in your home or give it as a gift. All materials will be provided; just bring yourself, an apron if you have one, and wear clothing that you won’t mind getting a little glue on. Come join the fun! Class size limited to 20 so register early!
