Our events have been canceled indefinitely due to COVID-19, resulting in a significant drop in income. Yet, we still have a mortgage to pay, Thanks to a challenge grant from David Landsberger, we have the opportunity to pay off the mortgage this year! David will match all donations dollar-for-dollar. For example, a $100 gift becomes $200; a $1000 gift will be doubled to $2000. Our goal is to raise $60,000. Donations of any size are much appreciated! The sooner we reach our goal, the more funds we'll have for programming when the covid crisis eases. And, being mortgage free will help us produce even more creative programming in the future. FYI: CCA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, so all contributions are tax deductible. This year, the CARES Act allows you to take a $300 charitable donation deduction ($600 per married couple) even if you take the standard deduction instead of itemizing. |
