In THE CLOCK STRUCK ONE, estranged sisters Connie Girard and Regan Tasker are on holiday at a quaint New England bed and breakfast run by the fussy Essie Mason. As if the weekend wasn't awkward enough, one of the inn's co-owners Hank Mason is found dead in the study. In this old-fashioned whodunnit, fingers are pointed at the inn's other guests while trying to deduce who would want an antique dealer dead. Could it be the quirky used car salesman, his sassy wife, the off-putting English chap, the thriller novelist, or the mysterious traveler? And why does the old mantle clock keep randomly chiming?
