Seven life-long friends have one final birthday celebration before they graduate high school, but decide to liven things up by inviting over the weird new girl. But something goes wrong and tragedy occurs, causing the girls to not speak with each other for eight years. The girls, now adults, reflect on that consequential birthday sleepover, but are interrupted when a mysterious detective arrives at the door. The detective asks about that memorable night, with insight only a witness could know.
