Plein Air Art Show
Carole Boggemann Peirson

Full-time artist Carole Boggemann Peirson was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to the US in 2000. She has a studio on the Eastern Shore of Virginia where she was trained by her late painting teacher Adamo in the classical tradition. She loves to paint on location and uses these outdoor studies for larger studio pieces. Carole took workshops with Roger Dale Brown, Bethanne Kinsella Cople, Scott Tallman Powers, John Brandon Sills, Gavin Brooks, Tracey Frugoli and Maggie Siner. Carole participated in Plein Air Easton (2013) and received numerous awards at Local Color in Easton, Paint Snow Hill and Paint Solomons in Maryland as well as at the Gloucester Plein Air Festival in 2017. She sells  her work through galleries and at plein air events and passes on the oil painting tradition via workshops and private lessons.
