Plein Air Art Show
Cheryl Taylor

I'm a self taught artist  who began painting as a source of stress relief from the daily grind of the business world.  Now retired and living on Chincoteague Island, I love to capture the beauty of the island by creating original works of art.

GARDEN DELIGHT
Cheryl Taylor

$150
Acrylic -  20" H, 16" W
Framed - Total: 25" H 21" W
While there is so much beauty on Chincoteague Island, the beauty in my own backyard should not be taken for granted.   I love gardening, and the flowers are just part of the result of my efforts.

SIMPLICITY
Cheryl Taylor

$75
Watercolor -  8" H, 10" W
Framed - Total: 12" H 14" W
It's the simple things in life that can offer you joy.  It's all about perspective. In these challenging pandemic times, joy can be derived from watching a seagull on the beach after it's enjoyed catching breakfast from the sea.

SUNSET ON SOUTH MAIN
Cheryl Taylor
$235
Acrylic -  16" H, 16" W
Framed - Total: 16 1/8th" H, 16 1/8th" W
Sunsets on the Chincoteague Bay are always breathtaking. This cute little boat house draws your attention to it with it's vivid yellow siding and newly added vibrant green shutters. The geese always hang out feeding on the grasses next to the entrance of the boat house dock making it a lively experience to watch the sun set over this charming little boat house on South Main Street.
