Plein Air Art Show
George Jennings

I have been an architect too much of my life and I am finally doing what I love—painting.  Now I have to learn to paint like an artist and not so much like an architect. Once I got so tired of architecture I built 750 crab pots, got an old work boat, and became a commercial waterman for nearly two years. I loved it. It's very hard, and just as beautiful.

OLD GREY BUCKET
George Jennings

$500 (includes insured shipping by artist)
Oil Painting -  8" H, 10" W - Unframed
An interesting old boat from Delaware sitting at the end of a pier in the Marina at the south end of Main Street. The waterline indicated that the bilge pump might not be keeping up with the inward flow of water! Painting waterlines is a real art to get them equally exposed when the vessel is at rest.

A MAIN STREET TWO HOLER - MEN & WOMEN!
George Jennings
$425 (includes insured shipping by artist)
Oil Painting - 8" H, 10" W - Unframed
This old two seater outhouse sits about 12 feet off the South Main Street pavement at an abandoned inlet side marina. It speaks to what was acceptable in the community at a different time and in a different culture. I am sure the dirt that somewhat screens the entrances came out of the ground under the house to create the storage! It has all the comforts and loads of personality, as well as other!

CAP'N CAT'S BOAT #1
George Jennings
$490 (includes insured shipping by artist)
Oil Painting -  9" H, 12" W
Framed - Total: 14" H, 17" W
This boat is at the south end of Main Street on the right where you turn into the marina. Every time someone stopped to talk to me as I painted it, a black cat would show up in the interior bridge cabin windows. So I decided it is Cap'n Cat's Boat. If you go there and call to him, he might come out to see you.

CAP'N CAT'S BOAT #3
George Jennings
$430 (includes insured shipping by artist)
Oil Painting -  9" H, 12" W - Unframed

The last of a series of three. This is not the type of boat I usually paint, but it is a a great old classic sport fishing boat and  I have loved painting it— obviously. I'm sure Cap'n Cat will be happy to know that I got his boat three times!
