Look to the right traveling over the Causeway at low tide and rows of manicured oyster beds are visible. They glisten in the sun in warm and cold weather waiting for the harvesters to come. The painting was done at the pull-off to Queen Sound.

SUNSET? SUNRISE?
Margaret Bradach
$250
Oil on board  -  9 3/4" H, 7 1/2" W
Framed
Total: 14" H, 12" W

It is hard to tell the beautiful sunsets from sunrises on the Shore.  They are both beautiful and full of vibrant color.  This painting is a scene  overlooking Tom's Cove on Assateague.  The subtle hazy colors danced in the heat of the ending day.

WATERMAN'S TOOLS
Margaret Bradach
$65
Oil on board  -  10" H, 5" W
Mounted for Hanging
Total: 10 3/4" H 6" W

Go down to the Harbor or ride along the south shore of the Island and these necessities are in clear view.  The sea calls to them and to the men and women who use them in winds and calm, heat and cold, clear and cloudy, raining and dry.  I have seen these valiant souls in blistering heat and freezing cold fish the waters all around.  A tribute to their courage and persistence.

The aroma calls you whether walking or driving. The red lunch truck parked on the front lawn with swirling luscious smoke billowing from the backyard captures you. A bronze chicken stands guard. The dogs needed a place to walk and exercise their people so a park was built to accommodate them. It's located next to the Nature Trail and is really a very peaceful and beautiful place to be in this time of COVID masks and restrictions.

MASKS TO THE SEA
Margaret Bradach
$95
Water color/ink on paper - 9" H, 8.5" W
Matted - Total: 11" H, 14" W

It was 100 degrees at the beach. I parked next to the seaside and marveled at the city of umbrellas stuck into the blistering sand. Not much on the blankets and no people to be seen. Masks abandoned the beach goers were all down by the water or in it. The sun so bright it was hard to see unless eyes were squinted. A memory of extreme heat during a COVID-19 summer.
