Plein Air Art Show
Marion McDonough

Marion Schade McDonough is a talented multi-dimensional artist who exhibited exceptional talent at an early age. She graduated from the Murrell Dobbins Vocational School of Commercial Art, worked as an Artist at Automotive Magazine and attended the Philadelphia Museum College (now the new University of Fine Art in Philadelphia). Skilled in all aspects of art, Marion has taught craft classes for over 10 years, enjoys drawing and painting, taxidermy and carving. While studying at the Barnstone Studios and the Abington Art Center, figure drawing and printmaking became her interest. From Marion's studio overlooking the Chincoteague Channel there is a quiet atmosphere to create exciting art. The boats passing the window are often the subject of her work.
